We Build Compassionate, Peaceful Communities by Leading with Love in All That We Do.

We believe that the power of love can truly heal ourselves and the world. This is nothing new. It's been sung about, written about, and has led some of the most significant movements in history. The independence of India under Ghandi, the civil rights movement under Nelson Mandela in South Africa and Martin Luther King, Jr. in America, and the incredible work in the slums of Calcutta by Mother Teresa are examples where love has led the way to highly successful outcomes. Unfortunately, history is also marked with many events rooted in fear, none of which have resulted in positive outcomes for humanity.

Fear shows up in the form of hatred, racism, judgement, anger, greed, pride, jealousy, insecurity, guilt, shame, etc. Reacting to a situation from a place of frustration and anger can only add more of the same negative energy that you are trying to stop. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.” He was a shining example of how the power of love can create positive change in the world.

Our vision is to spread the message of love by building a peaceful, compassionate community from our headquarters in Newtown, a 60-acre nature retreat, through our various programs and events as well as through the space itself - a natural source of peace and tranquility open to all.

Our goal is to bring light into the world, one person, one organization, and one community at a time. Eventually, the light of love will overcome darkness. If not in the entire world - at least within ourselves which is where we need to start.
